UP TET Eligibility 2026
| Class 6 to 8 | Eligiblity Criteria |
| Candidates must have passed the graduation exam and be enrolled in the final year of a two-year D.L.Ed. (BTC) program from an institution affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh government, or have completed it.
Alternatively, Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation or post-graduation and be in the final year of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program from an NCTE recognized institution, or have completed it. Or, Candidates with at least 45% marks in their graduation or post-graduation and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree must have obtained it according to the regulations issued by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) regarding recognition, standards, and procedures from time to time. Or, Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation or post-graduation and have a degree from an NCTE recognized institution or one recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). |
