The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is calling for online applications for the recruitment of Junior Engineers (JE) in Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines, with a total of 1340 vacancies available across various Government of India Organizations/Offices. Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to submit their applications online at the official SSC website ssc.gov.in, starting from June 30, 2025, until the final application deadline of July 21, 2025, for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination 2025.

Border Roads Organization (BRO) JE (C) Degree in Civil Engineering; or

  1. Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering and
  2. Two years working experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.
JE (E & M) Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; or

  1. Three years Diploma in Electrical/Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering; and
  2. Two years’ experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works.
Brahmaputra Board, Ministry of Jal Shakti JE (C) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Central Water Commission JE (C) Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
JE (M) Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Central Public Works Department (CPWD) JE (C) Diploma in Civil Engineering.
JE (E) Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
DGQA – NAVAL, Ministry of Defence JE (M) Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or

  1. Three Year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Two-Year experience in the respective field.
JE (E) Degree in Electrical Engineering; or

  1. Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Two Year experience in the respective field.
Farakka Barrage Project (FBP) JE (C) Diploma in Civil Engineering.
JE (M) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Military Engineer Services (MES) JE (C) Degree in Civil Engineering; or

  1. Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering; and
  2. Two years’ experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.
JE (E & M) Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. or

  1. Three years diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; and
  2. Two years’ experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Works.
National Technical Research Organization (NTRO) JE (C) Diploma in Civil Engineering.
