CBSE KVS NVS Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institute/ University.
- Working as Principal in the Pay Level 12 (Rs.78800 to Rs.209200) for at least 03 years in Central/ State/ Autonomous Organizations of Central Govt./ State Govt.
Assistant Commissioner (KVS)
- Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institute/ University with at least 50% marks OR
- Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institute/ University with at least 50% marks.
- Working as Principal in the Pay Level 12 (Rs.78800 to Rs.209200) for at least 03 years in Central/ State/ Autonomous Organizations of Central Govt./ State Govt.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Principal
- Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed with at least 50% marks. OR Three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with at least 50% marks. OR Four years Integrated Degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed.
- Working as Principal in Pay Level-12 in Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous organizations of Central/ State Govt. OR others refer to notification Page No. 9
Vice Principal (KVS)
- Master Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- B.Ed. with atleast 50% marks. OR Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with atleast 50% marks. OR Four years Integrated degree with at least 50% marks B.Ed. component (50% marks).
- Working as Vice Principal in Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous organizations of Central/ State Govt. in the Pay Level 10. OR Working as PGT or Lecturer in Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous organizations of Central/ State Govt. in the Pay Level 8 for at least 06 years.
- Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)
- Integrated Post Graduate Course in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B.Ed. component. OR Master Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject AND
- B.Ed. Degree with atleast 50% marks OR Three years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with atleast 50% marks OR Four years Integrated Degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed. component.
- Proficiency to Teach in Hindi and English medium.

Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)
- Degree with B.Ed. OR PG with three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- Qualified in the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (Paper-II).
- Competency to teach through English and Hindi Medium.

Primary Teacher
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4 year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-I).
- Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English medium.
